We are presently looking for Healthcare Assistants for Talbot Lodge Nursing Home based in Dublin Ireland.

About Brookhaven

The Home provides 24- hour nursing care to up to 112 residents of all dependency levels, male and female who require long-term and short-term care that includes transitional, convalescence and respite care. The centre is a modern single story building divided into three areas: Castle, Estuary and Seabury. Accommodation is provided in 72 single and 20 twin bedrooms, some of which have en-suite facilities. There are a number of communal facilities available for the residents including six sitting rooms, three dining rooms, one activity room, a large Café, an oratory and a hairdresser facility. The nursing home is situated in a tranquil setting located 3km from the beautiful coastal town of Malahide, a 15 minute drive to Dublin Airport, 10 min from Swords and 26 min to Dublin city centre on public transport.


As an HCA’s you provide the daily care and assistance to the residents within the Nursing Home. You will work as part of a team lead by a staff nurse/CNM under the supervision of the Nursing Home’s Director of Care/General Manager and/or their Deputy to cater for the all clinical and care needs of the residents. HCA’s are required to have a basic level of training to include the completion of a suitably relevant FETAC Level 5 course or equivalent such as Care of the Elderly.

Your salary will be €11 per hour as an HCA  and €17-18 per hour as a Nurse.

Uniform is a normal clinical uniform designed for Brookhaven Healthcare employees
